We really didn’t know what to expect for our first holiday shopping season. Since neither Melissa Van Flandern or I were in retail before we just didn’t know what to expect that Friday morning we opened after Thanksgiving. Always touted as the busiest shopping day of the year we decided to open early and have treats for customers. It was a busy day but we were prepared and had great time seeing a bunch of our loyal customers and meeting new customers, many of them saying they had seen us mentioned somewhere and have been planning to come in to check us out.
